Kelsy Karter - Out Of Drugs

Following on from last year's release of her six-song debut EP, Kiss The Boys, Australian blue-eyed soul songstress Kelsy Karter now returns today with the unveiling of her brand new single called "Out Of Drugs" along with the single's accompanying music video which was directed by Noel Maitland and edited by Kelsy herself.

Speaking on the track, Kelsey says:

"This song ('Out of Drugs') is a metaphor for being in love. Love is the best drug ever, and it's about that journey. I talk about drugs the entire time, but it's a metaphor for being high on love. It's about what we all go through. Love's the fucking best, and that's what drugs are like - when you come down from drugs, it's the worst thing in the world. It's got a retro soul vibe, but there's some modern elements in it too. We tried to meet in the middle this time."

"Out Of Drugs" is available now on iTunes.

Premiere via Galore.

  1. Great post full of useful tips! My site is fairly new and I am also having a hard time getting my readers to leave comments. Analytics shows they are coming to the site but I have a feeling “nobody wants to be first”. Top addiction centers
