Originally from Vancouver, Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Chantel Marie, otherwise known as Lavachild is quickly gaining momentum throughout the blogosphere right now after Neon Gold premiered the Connor Lawson-directed music video for her highly infectious debut single, "Want U To" which she wrote and produced herself. Needless to say, Lavachild is one of those emerging new talents that we'll definitely be adding to our artists to watch list.
