Following the release of their massive 2013 debut single, "I Want, I Need", Sydney-based disco-funk duo Midnight Pool Party, comprised of Darren Morilla (vocals, keys) and Oliver Dela Cruz (guitar, bass) have just unveiled their second official single entitled, "Linger".
The single’s inception began when Darren Morilla and Oliver Dela Cruz locked themselves away, with nothing but a vintage turntable and a stack of vinyl - circa late 1990s to early 2000. Drawing on the nostalgia of their favourite, classic chart dominators, including Mojo, Stardust, Moloko and Jamiroquai.
"Linger" is scheduled for release on April 2nd, but between now and then you can expect the single's B-side, "Disco Delight" along with two intoxicating "Linger" remixes from Adelaide-based producer Luke Million (one half of Kitsune signed disco duo The Swiss) and the other by Canberra-based house producer Sondrio.
