Following the release of their 2012 debut EP, Ice Light (which is available now as a free digital download and limited edition 10" vinyl on Bandcamp), electronic pop duo San Zhi, comprised of Peter Howarth-Brown and Suraya have recently relocated from London to Reims, France to work with Guillaume Brière (of French electronic duo The Shoes) who'll be supervising the production duties on their upcoming, yet-untitled debut album.
The first track to surface is the absolutely beautiful, "Static Hearts". Although this song first appeared on music blogs back in early January, this is a track that I unfortunately failed to post on time but upon first hearing have not been able to get out of my head. So I figured better late than never, therefore I am posting it now. If the rest of songs on the album is as good as "Static Hearts" is, I have no doubt 2014 is going to be a really good year for San Zhi.
