Chandler Juliet - Burning Sage (PREMIERE)

Award winning Los Angeles-based indie pop singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Chandler Juliet has just released her brand new single called "Burning Sage", which we are fortunate to have been asked to premiere for you today. Co-written and produced in collaboration with Dylan Emmet and Mikeldi Murguia, "Burning Sage" follows her previous offering "Tribe of One", an EDM collaboration with German production duo Major Sound.

Serving as the first single off her forthcoming 4-song EP, Elements, where each song is loosely themed around the elements of fire, water, earth, and air, "Burning Sage" is groovy, guitar-based tune backed with a bouncy hip-hop beat and an infectious hook that Chandler hopes will calm and vibe with its listeners. Although much different from her past collaborations, Chandler is blossoming with this solo track displaying her rootsy authenticity, both lyrically and sonically. The song pokes fun at anxiety in the moments of getting overwhelmed. She explains and adds how she deals with stress:

"I wrote the song just a few months after graduating college. I'm still figuring out adulthood and my place in this world, and in this social media world where we hide our darker times, our introspection, and the sausage-making parts of life, I find myself easily getting caught up in comparison, self doubt, and feel overwhelmed with adult-ing. 'Burning Sage' is all about taking that moment to yourself to step back, light a dope candle, and take a deep breath - away from the chaos and anxiety, and songwriting is that peace and escape for me."

Through her music, Chandler Juliet pens her unique story of being born and raised in the big city of Los Angeles, and staying for the dream and pursuit of music, while letting go of adolescence.
