Charli XCX - Break The Rules

Having already released two chart-topping singles so far this year, "Boom Clap", which has since climbed to number 10 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart and her summer smash hit, "Fancy" with Iggy Azalea, 22-year-old British pop siren Charlotte Emma Aitchison, better known as Charli XCX has just unveiled her new song/anthem entitled "Break The Rules" taken from her highly anticipated sophomore album Sucker scheduled for release on December 16th (USA) and January 26th (UK/Europe) via Neon Gold/Atlantic Records.

"The song is inspired by a lot of the things I was listening to whilst in Sweden at the end of last year," she told Buzzfeed. "I spent about a month making a punk record and covering songs by Swedish punk bands like Snuffed By The Yakuza and stuff. This song was written when I came out of the other side of that punk phase and translated it into something more pop. Obviously, it's about not giving a fuck."

Pre-order Sucker on iTunes.
