Klo - False Calls

Following the success of their debut track "Make Me Wonder" released earlier this year, which to date has amassed well over a whopping 80,000 plays on Soundcloud, so far, emerging Melbourne-based indie/electronic pop duo Klo, comprised of cousins Simon Lam (of I'lls) and Chloe Kaul, who first started to collaborate together after a request was made by their respective mothers, have just unveiled the music video for their incredible new single "False Calls", directed by Hamish Mitchell and taken from their upcoming debut EP due out later this year on Remote Control Records.

Discussing the video for "False Calls", Klo explains, "The theme behind ‘False Calls is the loss of identity. The lyrics were sparked after an incident in a club, where Chloe was threatened by a friend who was changed by the atmosphere and the influence of substances. These points are represented through a literal smoke screen and tight crop shots, creating a warped barrier of ones perceived identity and reality. The looming hand projections are symbolic of the friend’s physical attack. The video captures the disorientating and surreal slow motion of the event."

"False Calls" is available now on iTunes.
