Last month, Swedish singer/songwriter Neneh Cherry released her first new solo album since 1996's Man. Blank Project, a record recorded and mixed in a 5 day period in collaboration with synth/drum duo RocketNumberNine and produced by Kieran Hebden, otherwise known as Four Tet. And now today on Noisey's You Need To Hear This, Neneh Cherry has unveiled the music video for the album's lead single, "Out Of The Black" featuring fellow Swedish pop icon, Robyn. The video was created by artist Dario Vigorito, aka 241-24-7 and features dissonant cut n’ paste imagery used to unsettling effect.
Neneh Cherry's new album, Blank Project is out now on Smalltown Supersound and available on CD/12" Vinyl here and on iTunes.
