Following on from the release of her self-empowering anthem, "
Freedom" earlier this summer, Los Angeles-based singers/songwriter Jessie Poland, aka LACES (who previously performed under the pseudonym,
Charlotte Sometimes) is back today to present us with her latest pro-female alt-pop banger called "Some Body (2 f*ck)", which once again showcases LACES' soaring vocals blended with some seriously good electronic dance production.
Speaking on the track, LACES says:
"
The song is about role reversals - I feel like in society it's common for women to be treated like objects, but not men. This song is about just needing a release, but there's also a certain sadness and disconnectedness that comes with that."
