Already praised as a new artist to watch in 2014 by Indie Shuffle, up-and-coming Melbourne-based singer/songwriter Yuko Nishiyama has just recently unveiled her debut single, "Heart of Daisies". Produced by Joshua Barber and mixed by Rob Feaster, the single combines lashes of strings and driving rhythms; hypnotic layers of instrumentation and harmony. The song is her response to a close friend's struggle to find love – and Yuko captures the subject’s transformative moments with subtle grace. "Heart of Daisies" is a first glimpse of what is yet to come from a strong new voice for the Australian indie-pop scene. Yuko Nishiyama is currently working on finishing up her debut studio album.
