The Controversy - Queen Of Chinatown

Winners of Artist of the Year in 2012 at the Artists In Music Awards as well as Best Alternative Song of the Year in 2012 at the Hollywood Music In Media Awards for their single "Real", with the video for the single also nominated for Best Music Video at the Los Angeles Music Awards in 2013. In addition to also being named by Music Connection Magazine as one of the Hot 100 Best Independent Bands of 2012, among many other awards and nominations. The Controversy, comprised of Laura Vall (vocals and keys) and Thomas Hjorth (guitars and vocals), is an acclaimed alternative pop duo who originally hails from Barcelona and Copenhagen however is now based in Los Angeles, CA. Having released their critically acclaimed debut album Real in mid-2011, The Controversy make a welcome return today with the unveiling of their brand new single "Queen Of Chinatown", which will appear on the duo's forthcoming second album titled Don't Count On Me. Release date TBA.
