Los Angeles' own reigning queen of disco-pop Gavin Turek has just released her long-awaited new single, "Frontline", along with the B-side, "Don't Fight It" via IHEARTCOMIX's newly launched digital singles label, 1NFINITY, who previously released singles from Chela and Pictureplane. In regards to the release, Gavin Turek explains:
"I've always loved disco. Giorgio Moroder and Donna Summer are my absolute favorites. Really wanted to create something that paid homage to the era and sound they created in the 70s; unabashedly pop, unabashedly happy and music that forced you to move your body. I wrote this song with an incredible producer named Nico Stadi. The first day we met or even worked together, we made "Frontline". There was just this instant magical understanding between the two of us I guess... a mutual love of disco. And "Frontline" is just a preview of what’s to come."
