Ava James - Between Sheets (Prod. by Leo Kalyan)

Following on from the success of her previous two singles, "Won't Look Below" (Prod. by Tropics) and "No More" (Prod. by Maths Time Joy), up-and-coming 21-year-old London-based singer/songwriter Ava James makes a welcome return today with her new single called "Between Sheets", produced by Leo Kalyan. Built around Leo's ethereal production, "Between Sheets" struts with a delicate swagger. Propelled by a constant soft pulse, the track effervesces with rippling incidents anchored by rich piano, warm bass and confident grooves. This neon context is the perfect platform for Ava's husky vocal.

Speaking of the track, Ava says:

"I love the space that Leo creates on his productions as it's soft yet so immediate. Lyrically the song is about the realities you have to confront when that spark burns out in a relationship – you're trapped and need to find a way out."
