Introducing Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter and Berklee College of Music graduate Elline, who has today unveiled her debut single called "Smoke + Mirrors", which was produced by Sur and Felipe Mejia Saldarriaga and serves as the first song to be lifted from her forthcoming debut EP Stained Glass, due out later this year. As explained by Elline, the single "talks about losing one's individuality or the culture of superficiality and how we can easily become a victim of it."
Speaking on the release, Elline says:
"To me, stained glass is a powerful metaphor for how we see life and for how life reveals itself to us. All 4 songs revolve around that theme, and were written as a personal reminder that strength, love and courage comes from within. I hope that, like me, listeners will find in Stained Glass an empowering, playful, reflective and honest outlet."
