Quietly emerging from the Isle of Wight, electronic pop artist known simply as Ever has demonstrated her flair for sophisticated songwriting with previous releases "Bones" and "Common Daze" while also displaying astonishing talent and strength beyond her years. When all of this is taken into account, it's clear that she knows how to craft an original and infectious brand of personal confessions, which is presented again in her latest single entitled "Silence Is Petty, Bitter's Not Pretty, a track that reflects the daily struggles of life within this day and age.
Speaking on the track, Ever says:
"Our lives seem to be about how we’re just working to live, and that’s all we end up doing - but in doing so, we don’t actually learn how to live. For example, in the chorus, I ask 'Do we have more time?' - It feels like I’ve wasted a large portion of my life working, or worrying about needing to work, but really my life has just begun and I’m still learning and have a lot of time ahead of me, even if it doesn’t feel like it."
