Los Angeles-based alt-pop songstress BANKS returns today with her new single called "Underdog", which premiered earlier this morning on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show. Once again collaborating with producer Al Shux, who also produced her 2014 single "Drowning" and "Fuck With Myself" off her sophomore album, The Altar, "Underdog" is a surprisingly upbeat track dedicated to all the unassuming, under-appreciated, underdogs of the world. As always, BANKS continues to prove that she is indeed one of the most compelling artists around. Always seeking new territories to explore, genres to bend and expectations to defy, BANKS is one of those rare artists who refuses to compromise art over expectations.
