San Francisco-based electro-pop artist and producer Steph Wells, aka SUMif makes her long-awaited return today with her first new single of the year called "IDW", which also serves as the first taste of her upcoming debut EP, due out later this year. Inspired by The XX and Tei Shi, "IDW" oscillates between sultry and potent, striking an unadulterated musical tension as the rhythms ebb and flow. SUMif's sensual vocals overlay hook-filled melodies and driving rhythms, creating a striking piece of electro-pop that is as ethereal as it is intense.

2016 was a notable year for SUMif, illustrated by the release of seven singles, including a music video for "In With Me" and the Hype Machine-topping hit, "Lay Down." Since then, SUMif has been perfecting her live show, opening for such acts as Vérité , Ella Vos, RKCB, Lauv, Exes, Body Language, Kučka, and Little Boots.

"I could not be more excited to be releasing new music, especially a song that I was able to write with some of my best friends," says Steph Wells of "IDW". "I can't wait to jump around on stage and play this for y’all."

Listen to "IDW" below.

"IDW" is available now on iTunes and Spotify.
