International Women's Day this Thursday, Swedish singer/songwriter Natali Felicia has today unveiled the empowering music video for her subversive pop anthem "Say It", which also serves as the first single to be taken from her upcoming debut album, Wrong Era, due for release on March 30th via AntiFragile Music.
Speaking on the track and video, Natali explains:
"'Say It' is a song about not silencing oneself and women coming together to be stronger together. It feels very inspiring that this song was released, and now this video, in such a synchronistic time, when campaigns like #MeToo and #TimesUp state the revolution for gender equality stronger than ever. We say it louder than we've done before! And I love this video and the powerful portrayals of the women! I asked them to interpret 'Say It' into movement. However it came to them, hence the creative process itself being a free reigned liberation, and the result was truly compelling. Shooting this video I wanted a female-only team behind and in front of the camera. This was the first time (and definitely not the last) I've worked with a female director (Josefin Malmén). It was so exhilarating to work with her and her amazing team."
