Originally from Sweden but now based in Berlin, The Ghost of Helags who describe themselves as "a shy scandinavian electronica-pop duo,", have today shared their latest offering called "The World Outside Your Window", the follow-up to their double A-Side single, "Anthem (We Came From The Stars)" and "Wildest Dreams", released earlier this year. Easily their most poppiest song to date, "The World Outside Your Window" marks a new sound approach for the duo. Their sad dance melancholia is obviously still there, but the track opens new hopeful horizons. Rhythmed by liberating claps and snaps and a powerful bass, it resonates like an invigorating revelation from the inside. "It is a song about the world outside your window, outside your comfort zone", the singer explains. In the last months, the duo has developed a passion for France, especially the area around the French Riviera. This is where they wrote and recorded the song, to be specific, in Antibes, near Nice.
Listen to "The World Outside Your Window" below and expect to hear a lot more new from The Ghost Of Helags in the coming months as they prepare for the release of their new EP, which is expected to drop this fall.
"The World Outside Your Window" is available now on iTunes.
