Rising pop artist Lynn has today released her brand new single called "Fire Burning", the follow-up to last year's "Lonely Hearts" and "Where Do We Go". Written by Lynn herself and produced by Gilad Shmueli, "Fire Burning" is a heartfelt and moving song that deals with inner battles and their effects on life. Lynn explains how the mind can become a prison; analyzing things over and over again in our heads, leading to obsessive dark thoughts, keeping us from living in the moment and just being happy. These lines make the listener wonder; Lynn feels she and her partner keep breaking and tearing each other apart, while he isn't even aware any of it is happening. Is it all in her head? Is she only fighting herself? Lynn uses metaphors such as "un-doing the seams" as if she's un-doing her relationship slowly. By the last part of the song Lynn says - "Watch it burn out, pouring gasoline", a clear metaphor on how she only makes things worse when she sees they are already bad. Overall "Fire Burning" is beautifully produced and written, progressively evolving throughout the song while leaving us wanting more.
