Makena - Roses

Having already shared with us this year two stellar tracks, "Let You Go" and "fuqboi worktape", 22-year-old Los Angeles-based alt-pop artist Makena is back today with her fierce and powerful new single called "Roses." Co-written and produced with Joe Shull, Makena once again proves that her sound is as unique and diverse as she is while she brings listeners into her world and leaves us wanting more.

Speaking on the track, Makena says:

"I feel like too many times we fall back into old patterns of toxic relationships, because it’s comfortable and can feel easier than being alone. I wanted this song to be a statement of realizing your worth, and cutting out the negativity in your life."
