KOSTROK consists of two very young artists called José Martí and Adrián Lurbe (23 years old), Dj´s and electronic music producers who were born on the Iberian Mediterranean coast. Together they have set-up Kostrokclub in 2010, a multidisciplinary place that turned into one of the recent electronic music temples of the city of Turia. Since then, their explosive sessions have been heard throughout the most important festivals in Europe, sharing the stage with artists such as Skrillex, 2Manydjs, Tiga, Erol Alkan, Felix DaHouse Cat, Crookers, Metronomy and Crystal Fighters.
At the beginning of 2012 they started working on their own productions and in only 6 months, they managed to attract the attention the main electronic music labels of Europe. Their first single, RIGHT NOW, (Available now on iTunes), has been mixed by Julien Delfaud, one of the lead characters in “French touch” electronic music and responsible for the sound of bands such as Phoenix, Woodkid or Herman Dunne. Mike Marsh has been in charge of mastering (Chemical Brothers, Basement Jaxx, Prodigy and Depeche Mode). An EP will be released on May 14th on Parlophone Records with remixes of their 1st single realized by AL-P from MSTRKRFT, Yuksek and Discodeine.
