Rising half-German, half-English singer/songwriter Sophia Manou, otherwise known mononymously as Manou has just unveiled her new single "We Are", which once again sees her teaming up with legendary producer John 'P*Nut' Harrison, whose long list of credits includes the likes of Amy Winehouse, Eliza Doolittle, Chlöe Howl, Foxes and Dido as well as many others. "We Are" is the follow-up to Manou's equally brilliant debut single "Loving You" which she released back in in April on Duly Noted Records.
In regards to the new single, Manou says:
"This song ("We Are") is about being an individual and being proud of it. I want people to love themselves for what they are, come as they are and not feel anyone has to conform to any ideas of a mass. I have just finished school and this song is my ode to everyone at college who should feel pressure of growing up and with standing your own grounds."
