After releasing of a series of infectious singles last year, London-based four-piece Lizzie and the Yes Men have just unveiled the music video for their new single "Walk Alone", the title-track taken from the bands' forthcoming EP, which was recorded at Vatican Studios in London and produced by Tom McFall (R.E.M, Bloc Party, Weezer).
A photograph titled ‘Angel Woman’ by Mexican photographer Graciela Iturbide and a long road trip through the American desert were the inspirations for their forthcoming Walk Alone EP. A record on which the band feels it has found its own sound, a sound that is never too far away from a dusty road, a bare landscape or a black and white cinema screen. It was also there that during this inspiring trip around America that Lizzie filmed the stunning visuals for "Walk Alone" which were shot in the widerness of the Black Canyon in Arizona.
Lizzie and the Yes Men's Walk Alone EP will be available to purchase on 10" vinyl and/or digital download from August 12th though NYC/LDN record label 100m Records.
