Raye - Flowers

Following the release of her critically acclaimed debut EP, Welcome To The Winter late last year, rising 17-year-old South London-based R&B/pop singer/songwriter Rachel Keen, aka Raye has just unveiled her brand new song entitled "Flowers", produced by Fractures.

Talking with The Fader (who premiered the track earlier today) Raye explains:

"'Flowers' carries for me an important message of independence. We are taught by media and movies to be reliant and dependent on love. These depictions of love are found in objects like love hearts and flowers. This song rebels against that - I'm not one for soppy love and I am not one for flowers."
