Actor - Feline

Introducing Leed's newest project Actor. Who is Actor? Well, with much credit to The VPME, we have learned that Actor is the alias of former The Witch Hunt frontwoman Louisa Osborn, who is again joined by producer Chris Mulligan and drummer Ste Anderson. According to their bio, the band started writing their caustic and atmospheric alt-pop in a murky art space that was once home to a bomb factory. The central focus of band is Louisa’s stunning voice that soars over idiosyncratic guitars and taut yet elegant production, creating a push-and-pull of styles that intimates a raucous spirit in their recordings. Describing their songs as "exaggerated tales of larger-than-life characters personifying experiences of social anxiety, relationship breakdowns and constant migraines", today Actor have unleashed their rather superb debut offering entitled "Feline", which promises to be the first of many more promising cuts still to come from this exciting new outfit.
