Anna Laverty (Meg Mac, Cut Copy, Nick Cave). In addition, Dolly has also unveiled the single's accompanying music video which she produced and co-directed with DOP Dillon Pearce. Shot in Melbourne, Victoria and based on a coven of Wiccan females, the dramatic and provocative clip sees Dolly facing a demon that manifests from one’s negative thoughts and emotions, but is ultimately overcome.
Speaking on the track and video, Dolly explains:
"The song 'Take Me' was born from a bit of an existential crisis and some negative thoughts that were keeping me down so I was in a dark place at the time. After binge watching The Craft and Charmed and with already a rough idea for what I wanted the music video to be; I thought that a throwback to magic and occult which I grew up with would represent the theme and story of the song."
