Following the release of her debut single, "
Veins" which topped the
Hype Machine charts back in May, 18-year-old Warwickshire-based singer/songwriter Keyes makes a welcome return today with the unveiling of her second single entitled "Poor Man's Paradise". According to single's press release, Keyes wrote the song in just thirty minutes in her English Lit class during a lesson on
Tennessee Williams' play,
A Streetcar Named Desire, which is also what the song is about. Listen to "Poor Man's Paradise" below.
