Goldroom (feat. Ren Farren) - Waiting To Ignite
Boston-bred, Los Angeles-based DJ/producer and all-around multi-talented musician Josh Legg, aka Goldroom returns today following his 4-track It's Like You Never Went Away EP, released this past May via Downtown Records, with his exhilarating new dance floor anthem titled "Waiting To Ignite", which he co-wrote with R&B superstar Tinashe and features guest vocals from fellow LA-based indie pop artist Ren Farren, who you remember from her single, "Crier", which we shared a couple months ago.
Speaking on the track, Josh says:
"I really wanted to show what you could do with live instruments, and to explore the idea of a less electronic future for Goldroom. When Tinashe and I sat down together to write the song, we wrote it about just that, the future. At the time we were both in a place where the horizon looked really bright, and we wanted to write something that would convey all of the excitement and anxiety that comes along with that feeling. It can be terrifying to have the world telling you things are about to "ignite", and to me this song really captures that moment."

The new track will help usher in Goldroom's largest live tour to date. The 16-date Waiting To Ignite tour kicksd off on October 11th in Syracuse, and includes a stop in New York City with performances during this year's CMJ festival, and features Goldroom taking an alternative route for a dance music concert by performing with a full live band.
