Following the release of their previous two singles, "Morals" and "For That, I'm Sorry" - both of which took the blogosphere by storm as well as receiving airplay on well known radio stations on all corners of the world, including BBC Introducing (UK), Triple J (Australia) and KCRW (USA) - Aussie/UK duo BATTS, comprised of Melbourne-based singer/songwriter Tanya Batt (who will soon be moving to the UK to pursue the collaborative project without all the complications that living across oceans creates) and Birmingham-based producer Alisdair Mason (aka, Ficci) are back today to share their absolutely gorgeous rendition of Haddaway's 1993 global hit single, "What Is Love" by turning it into smooth and silky yet heartbreaking ballad. Surrounded by Tanya's crisp, clear vocals and Alisdair's dreamy production, along with some sexy saxophone playing provided by Luke Cruel (of Scholar), this is the iconic 90’s song like you’ve never heard it before.
