"Lioness" also serves as the first single and title track to be lifted from Brooke's upcoming debut EP, a pop infused album with a soulful influence produced by Benny Reiner (drummer of Broadway's hit new musical, Hamilton), which is due for release this spring.
The rising songstress has previously collaborated with some of the world's most renowned producers, such as Dutch DJ and producer Nicky Romero, whose edit of "Heartbeat" - a collaboration with Magnificence and Alec Maire - climbed to the #2 spot as the best dance record worldwide on the Beatport Top 100 chart. Brooke's songs have been heard at international festivals including opening up for Tomorrowland, premiering at Ultra Miami/Japan and EDC Las Vegas/NY. Her spellbinding vocals have attracted a wide audience while also reeling in millions of listeners on both YouTube and SoundCloud.
Speaking on the track, Brooke says:
"This song was born from the part of my soul, who lives like a wanderlust gypsy, always filled with freedom, whenever I roam along the road less traveled. From hitchhiking on a motorcycle in Greece, to exploring the hidden labyrinth treasures of Morocco, or bringing books to Vietnamese children in the ethnic minority villages tucked away in the mountain tops & to discovering the rebirth within myself in Bali, I feel beyond blessed for the beautiful adventures I have embarked on. Within all of these stories, lies the creation of 'Lioness'."
