Jesiah - Babylon

Los Angeles-based songwriter and producer Jesiah returns today following his solo debut "Walls" with his second single called "Babylon." Where "Walls" was a high-energy electro alt-pop cut, "Babylon" seems like it came straight out of a Wes Anderson film, with nods to Youth Lagoon. Sweet with folk undertones, "Babylon" spotlights Jesiah's vulnerable vocals with a subtle backing piano and percussion that is complex in its simplicity. The heartfelt emotion in Jesiah’s voice rounds out the minimalistic texture of the track as it climaxes instrumentally and fades into gentle crooning.

Speaking on the track, Jesiah says:

"'Babylon' is one of my favorite songs because it's so close to my heart. To put it simply, "Babylon" is a story about two souls defending their love in the face of adversity."
