FRENSHIP (feat. Emily Warren) - Capsize

Having just shared their single, "Carpet" a little less than a month ago. Los Angeles-based duo FRENSHIP, comprised of James Sunderland and Brett Hite, are back again today with yet another gloriously infectious indie pop anthem called "Capsize", which features guest vocalist Emily Warren, who has a pretty impressive resume herself, having written songs for high-profile artist such as Jessie J, Becky G, Melanie Martinez and The Chainsmokers. Centered around a back and forth between male and female vocals, the track slides along punch-drunk synths and layered percussion, as James croons, "Up at night I'm awake 'cause it haunts me, that I never got to say what I wanted." But when Warren's drop-of-sunshine hook bursts back on the scintillating chorus, admitting "I capsize, I'm first in the water / too close to the bottom," it's impossible to not jump in to join her, as the buoyant, loose rhythms float steady and the fire pit burns away. Listen to "Capsize" below and stay tuned for a lot more new music from FRENSHIP as the boys are currently gearing up for the release their their long-awaited debut EP, due out later this spring.
