20-year-old London-based singer/songwriter and classically trained pianist Lizbet Sempa continues her ascent with her new single entitled "Deep Inside", which in her own words is about "how ego can stop beautiful things from happening - waiting for love but it never coming." Built on her brooding and insightful chords, her smoky, refined alto adeptly shines wjile a subtle beat and blithe back-ups lift the melody into its poised and triumphant chorus. With a sound reminiscent of artists like Adele and Laura Mvula, Sempa’s talent breathes as timeless as it is undeniable, as she soars, "Came here looking for your pride, and I found it deep inside, / let it wash away, wash away, wash away." "Deep Inside" will be release tomorrow (May 27th). Pre-order on iTunes.
