Bloodboy - Keep Your Disease

25-year-old Los Angeles-based artist (and former competitive surfer) Lexie Papilion, aka Bloodboy may not know it but we're HUGE fans of hers. After having delighted us earlier this year with her previous two singles, "Hey Kid" and "Human Female", she now returns with her latest offering titled "Keep Your Disease", a fierce and guitar-driven indie pop anthem which will appear on her forthcoming debut EP, due out this fall.

Speaking on the track, Lexie says:

"So many people glide through life without ever thinking to question what is going to make them truly happy. The song is from the perspective of this sort of omnipotent, subliminal figure on a megaphone projecting these deeply rooted societal constructs and the 'disease' that is referenced is actually your true inner desires. It's kind of a call to action, a 'Wake the fuck up, do you even know yourself at all?'"
