Singaporean singer/songwriter Linying returns today with her absolutely beautiful and breathtaking new single called "Paris 12", which also serves as the title track off her forthcoming 5-song debut EP, due out on September 30th via
Akira Records. Awash with musical catharsis and her powerful lyricism, Linying channels Bon Iver with brooding instrumentation rumbling behind her clear, earnest voice. A powerful track yet simultaneously full of restraint as she sings, "
Paris makes me feel alone / but yours is something of its own.". The EP will also include her previously released singles, "
Sticky Leaves" and "
Alpine", the first of which amassed over a million streams on Spotify and quickly established Linying as one of the most promising artists coming out of Asia in 2016.
