After having shared his kaleidoscopic pop single "Waiting For You" earlier this summer along with follow-up track, "That's Believing", Sunday, otherwise known as the new solo project from Aussie musician Aaron Shanahan, who is also the lead singer and musical director of iconic prog-dance band Miami Horror, now returns today with his meditative new cut, "Only". Buoyant, hazy synths are paired with a thumping, dance floor ready beat, echoing the likes of Moby and SOHN. The perfect kiss off to summer, the track rests on Shanahan's heart tugging hook, as he coos "Only you, I am a light / Only you, I am alive."
Speaking on the track, Aaron/Sunday says:
"In the aftermath of relationships with other people we can be challenged in reflection to what they meant and what we are. Through these deep interactions and opening of the hearts, we hope that we can learn from lessons given and heal by connecting to something deeper. This song is about process."
