Campbell - Don't Move

Introducing Campbell who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and who has just unveiled her new single entitled "Don't Move", which was written and produced in collaboration with Simon Ratcliffe of Basement Jaxx. The pair first met in 2015 when Campbell spent a month in London to come and work on her music after completing high school.

"Don't Move" is a soulful and' sultry track with a modern production edge infused with R&B vibes. There's a depth to Campbell's voice and songwriting which defies her short 19-years on this planet. She describes her sound as, "Somewhere between alternative pop and where I think future R&B is heading."

Campbell who cites influences ranging from The Black Keys and Arctic Monkeys to Lion Babe, Chet Faker and James Blake, says her single "Don't Move", "Hits home closer to anything else I’ve written. When every move looks like a mistake sometimes it’s best to “Stop, stand still” for a while. I’m still not sure if it’s a warning or a wakeup call. Maybe somewhere in the middle."
