Prolific New York City-based singer/songwriter Brooke Forman, best known for her feature on the 2015 Beatport Top 100 #2 smash hit dance track, "Heartbeat" by Nicky Romero, has today unveiled her upbeat and saucy new single called "Mad Rollercoaster", lifted from her forthcoming debut EP, Lioness, slated to drop later this year. "Mad Rollercoaster" was written by Brooke herself along with Grammy Award-winning producer Benny Reiner (drummer for the Broadway hit show, Hamilton), who also produced the track. Based on true events, the song tells a story of betrayal and the strength it takes to overcome heartbreak.
Speaking on the track, Brooke says:
"'Mad Rollercoaster' is about the record label executive that had cheated on me. Years later, he still tries to come back to me and says that he regretted it. For me, it was a story about betrayal and a woman’s strength to persevere. I wanted to make it aggressive but make it still sound fun, funky and pop. The message is me telling him I would never want you back. There is a strong, female presence on the track."
