Having burst onto the scene back in early June with the release of her debut single, "Promise", which has so far amassed close to a million listeners on MrSuicideSheep's YouTube channel along with another quarter million Spotify plays, emerging Danish singer/songwriter Gabriela Olmedo Catalán, aka KING now returns today with her second offering entitled "Police", another heartbreakingly evocative and arresting pop gem.
Much like her music, KING’s DNA is made up of a vibrant amalgamation of Scandinavian cool and South American/Caribbean attitude. Gritty and defiant, KING makes nuanced and mature pop music with genuine emotional heft, an avenue which is explored further with the release of "Police'. With KING’s vocals set front and centre, "Police" is an inspirational call to arms with the euphoric bridge giving way to a rousing vocal + synth led chorus.
Speaking on the track, KING says:
"'Police' is about the feeling that someone or something is stealing something from you. We are living in a world with a lot of distractions - fancy parties, expensive clothes and keeping up a cool image seems oh-so important. You sometimes get the feeling that all of these things are stealing people away from you."

"Police" is available now on iTunes.
