Following on from last year's release of her breakout single, "JUNK", which was featured on Spotify's Fresh Finds and Fresh Finds: Hiptronix playlists as well as earned a #1 spot on Hype Machine's No Remixes chart, London-based alt-pop artist Vivienne Chi returns with her latest single entitled "Blood Brother". Once again collaborating with producer Harry Tarlton, "Blood Brother" consists of repetitive nuances of guitar plucked arpeggios and driving synth hooks which provide a backbone to Vivienne's adventurous vocal. Vivienne Chi proves her remarkable clear vision in songwriting, as the song renders into astounding choruses and magical moments.
Speaking on the track, Vivienne says:
"'Blood Brother' is a song about the correlation between light and love. The idea that a beam of love can shine upon us, refracting our single light into glistening colours, making everyday life luminescent and vivid. There is also sadness to this song, though they are tuned into the same frequency, they are polar opposites; their moments together are precious and short-lived before they inevitably bounce apart like magnets."
