LeyeT - Let Me Know

Los Angeles-based indie pop artist LeyeT (pronounced "Light") continues to further cement her reputation as one of 2018's most promising newcomers by today unveiling her brand new single called "Let Me Know", the follow-up to "Most People", which was released back in early June and garnered support from the likes of Billboard, Kick Kick Snare, HighClouds, and PressPlay OK, just to name a few. With her debut offering "Don't Make Me Cry" topping Spotify’s Fresh Finds and landing in both the US and Global Viral Spotify charts as well as her previous singles "Long Way" and "Like You More" both reaching #1 on Hype Machine, LeyeT is definitely an artist who you're going to want to have on your radar.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the track, LeyeT explains:

"Are we friends or is it more? Are these feelings mutual or just in my head? Am I just nervous to blur a line that may or may not even exist? The emotions attached to 'Let Me Know' stem from two people cautiously coming to terms with an undeniable chemistry and the confusion and hesitation that follows once the realization is unquestionable. I say 'You better let me know...' making it clear that the time has come to make a move, before the feelings fade, as feelings often do, and I move on. There are always complications when two people with individual and separate lives try to 'get on the same page.' so the song reflects the moment when I reached my moment of going 'all in.'"
