22-year-old Los Angeles-based alt-pop artist Olivia Grace has today released her brand new single entitled "Safe", which simply put, is as mesmerizing as it is emotional. Written and produced by Olivia herself, the track was co-written with Josh Wood (Snugs, Lost Midas) and engineered, mixed, and co-produced by Dave Burris (Saro, RKCB) at Mateo Sound in Downtown LA. With her previous two singles, "Blackbird" and "Shoestrings", Olivia quickly captured the attention of major media outlets such as Galore Magazine, Earmilk, Balcony TV, and Dash Radio, and has performed at at prominent venues such as Peppermint Club, Hotel Cafe, The Resident, and more throughout LA. This past spring, Olivia signed her first sync deal with All Media Music Group, home to Mikky Ekko, Joshua Radin, RIVVRS, and more.
Speaking on the track, Olivia says:
"I wrote 'Safe' while falling in love in a past relationship. It was thrilling and beautiful; there were so many new adventures. “Safe” is a really vulnerable, intimate song for me. It’s about a lot of different things— various stories woven together— but letting go of trying to control what happens next is a prominent theme throughout the song."
