Natalie Bang Bang - He's So Fine

In 2011, from the ashes of previous musical rabbles, emerging London-based artist/riot grrrl Natalie Chahal, aka Natalie Bang Bang (and formerly known as Bang Bang Bang) emerged, as an exotic punk princess who could twist Spector into the nineties.

A reflection of Chahal's past and present: her love of pretty much all sixties girl groups, electro pop and west coast grunge, Natalie set about producing and writing tracks and making online videos, think Mean Girls meet Hole and Veruca Salt. Now signed to Island Records and with an EP coming out later in the year, Natalie has recently shared the music video for her undeniably catchy new pop song, "He's So Fine".

Discussing the song in a recent interview with Fiasco Magazine, Natalie explains, "It's a bit of a girl power song. You fancy someone, but you wanna choose when and if you get naked with them. It's about honouring that courting process and staying classy. Sonically I wanted it to feel like Phil Spector meets Le Tigre, on steroids."

Also be sure to check out Natalie's latest release, "Dangerous When Wet" (below), which premiered earlier this week on The Guardian and will be released on 7" vinyl (limited to 250 copies worldwide) and available on November 3rd via Speedy Wunderground. Pre-order here.
