Camden Cox - Gold

London-based singer/songwriter Camden Cox makes a welcome return today with her new single along with its accompanying lyric video for "Gold", the follow-up to "20/20" released earlier this year. Produced with Mark Ralph and Jaded, "Gold" is an absolute pop banger from start to finish, possessing both weight and value simultaneously. This is Camden Cox's MO; pop that makes you think and feel, not something to be unvalued or overlooked.

Speaking on the track, Camden Cox explains:

"'Gold' means anything that is taken from you - be it money, sex, freedom, favours, trust, etc. 'Now I'm standing here alone, now you've got the gold, I should've known better' expresses the stupidity you feel once you let the 'Gold' go and you realise you've given too much to someone else."

"Gold" is available now on iTunes.

Premiere via Clash.
