Los Angeles-based Australian electro-pop chanteuse Chelsea May Wheatley, aka Chela makes a very, very welcome return today indeed with the release of her brand new single called "Bad Habit" along with it accompanying music video, directed and choreographed by Chela herself. Produced in collaboration with Chris Zane, whose long list of credits include Passion Pit, Les Savy Fav and Holy Ghost, among many others, Chela tells NPR, who premiered the single earlier today, that "Bad Habit" was inspired by "human error". "We are not always as virtuous as we seek to be," Chela says. "In this song I am calling myself out and pleading for punishment." Chela is currently finishing up work on her upcoming debut EP, so expect to hear a lot more for her in the coming months. Watch this space!
