Prolific Philadelphia-based singer/songwriter Elizabeth Mencel, aka ROZES, who has previously collaborated with the likes of The Chainsmokers, Galantis, Cash Cash, and Nicky Romero, just to name a few, has just shared the visuals for her new single, "Halfway There".
Inspired by the #MeToo movement, "Halfway There" pays homage to the hard work and dedication of the women that have come before us, as well as offers words of encouragement and support to the women of the future. Its motivating and electrifying message is the perfect way to begin the new year and is sure to not only be the official anthem for this year's Women’s March on NYC (and affiliated sister marches across the US taking place this Saturday, January 19th), but also an anthem for a generation of fierce women who are continuing to rise up, speak their truth and fight for equality demand change and defend our rights.
Since its release a little less than two weeks ago, "Halfway There" has been added to over 70 playlists and has garnered nearly 1.5 millions plays on Spotify.
Speaking about the video, ROZES tells Nylon.
"This video is so special to me because it includes so many strong women, including every important influential woman in my life. I am honored and humbled by these individuals. Each woman has their own story of struggle and triumph as a woman. Each has their own fight. But together we stand, and empowered we are."
