Eight Bit Tiger is an electro-dance duo out of Chicago. Originally from Sweden, you may have heard of the two brothers, Erik and Kent Widman, before. Their indie rock band, Love In October , was formed 15 years ago when “the brothers started playing music together in a bedroom in northern Sweden.” Eight Bit Tiger is their new side project, influenced by 70s funk and 80s synth-pop and sounding like a cross between indie dance and electro-pop.
Their debut album, Parallel Synchronized Randomness, was released on October 25 on Bandcamp and iTunes , and it’s definitely worth checking out.
