Empathy Test - Losing Touch (EP)

Introducing Empathy Test, an emerging new London-based electronic pop duo comprised of singer/songwriter Isaac Howlett and producer Adam Relf.

Empathy Test came to be as the result of a conversation the pair had over the 2011 Nicolas Winding Refn-directed film Drive. In which, both Adam and Isaac realised that that the cold, 80's-tinged electro sound composer Cliff Martinez had showcased with the help of Kavinsky and College was the perfect starting point for a new collaboration.

Over the course of the next few months, Empathy Test picked out their name - borrowed from one of their favourite Sci-Fi films, Blade Runner and shortly thereafter proceeded to work on their debut EP, which they recorded and mixed themselves.

Drawing on contemporary influences such as Purity Ring, Grimes and Chvrches as well as classic 80's artists such as Depeche Mode, New Order and The Cure. Empathy Test create a dynamic synth-pop sound that's equal parts light and shade.

Empathy Test's self-released, 4-song debut EP, Losing Touch is available now from all major digital outlets including Amazon, iTunes and Bandcamp.
