Ever since 19-year-old New Jersey-based singer/songwriter Ashley Frangipane, aka Halsey released her excellent debut single, "Ghost" earlier this year, which received a fair amount of well-deserved praise from other - much bigger music blogs such as HillyDilly and Indie Shuffle, I've been patiently waiting for the single's follow-up. Luckily, I didn't have to wait too long when yesterday she announced on Twitter that she would be releasing a new song at midnight. I immediately started counting down the minutes in anticipation for it's release...
And now here it is without further ado, Halsey's new single, "New Americana" which is everything I hoped it would be and more.
